One woman steadies a sunny yellow basket brimming with fruit; her companion stands calmly as three emerald parrots nestle on shoulder and arm. Modeled by hand in red clay, then painted in vibrant, matte pigments, the figures show Aguilar’s signature touches: floral blouses, sculpted sashes, confident profiles, and deft incised detailing. The basket figure is neatly signed “G.A.A.” on the reverse—Guillermina’s mark—affirming authorship from the most renowned dynasty of Oaxacan muñeca makers.
