Star Wars Trilogy: The Definitive Collection 1992 Widescreen LaserDisc Set
Deluxe Star Wars Trilogy: The Definitive Collection Widescreen Collector’s Edition, released by Lucasfilm and 20th Century Fox in 1992. This complete nine double-sided LaserDisc set presents Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi in their original theatrical versions, digitally mastered in widescreen format. Included are two companion volumes: the hardcover George Lucas: The Creative Impulse by Charles Champlin (Abrams, 1992) and the Supplemental Reference booklet. Housed in a large black slipcase with silver embossed Star Wars Trilogy logo and TIE Fighter motif on the spine.
This acclaimed release was the most comprehensive presentation of the trilogy prior to the 1997 Special Editions and remains highly prized among collectors for its THX-certified transfers and archival bonus materials. A landmark piece of Star Wars home video history and a must-have for LaserDisc enthusiasts.
Condition
Good condition overall. Outer slipcase shows visible shelf wear, corner scuffing, and handling marks consistent with age. LaserDiscs are clean with light play wear typical of use. Both the hardcover and paperback companion books are complete and show mild shelf wear only.
