Vintage Mexican Pottery Pig Shakers, Marked Mexico
Charming vintage pair of hand-painted Mexican pottery salt and pepper shakers in the form of seated pigs. Decorated in traditional folk-art style with floral and leaf motifs in rich cobalt blue, green, yellow, and brown over a warm terracotta base. Both are marked “Mexico” on the underside, characteristic of mid-20th-century Tonalá or Jalisco region pottery known for its rustic charm and hand-crafted individuality. A whimsical and colorful addition to any Mexican folk art or vintage kitchenware collection.
