Mexican Folk Art Tree of Life Style Candle Holder & Divided Platter

This decorative Mexican folk art pottery set includes a sculptural candle holder and a matching divided platter, both hand-painted in classic cobalt blue on a warm cream ground. The candle holder is designed in a circular, Tree-of-Life–inspired form, embellished with applied flowers, perched birds, and small hanging pendants that add depth, texture, and visual movement. The platter features three divided compartments with bold floral motifs and foliate detailing, framed by a softly scalloped rim.

Both pieces are marked “Mex.” on the underside, a common country designation found on vintage Mexican folk ceramics produced for domestic use and export.
