Handsome matched pair of standing lions on stepped rectangular bases, mid-20th-century Borghese style. Cast in resin and plaster with a mottled ochre/gilt finish that reads like aged stone; the lions face outward for a balanced mantel or bookshelf display. The modeling shows a full mane, strong stance, and looped tail; felt bottoms protect surfaces. Dark painted bases provide crisp contrast. Unsigned—as is typical for many Borghese-style decorative pieces—yet instantly decorative for traditional, eclectic, or Hollywood Regency interiors.
