Description

Rodney H. Webb 1977 Desert Bloom Landscape Oil Painting, Wood Frame

Original 1977 oil on stretched canvas by Rodney H. Webb (American, 20th century), depicting a sunlit Southwestern desert in bloom. The composition features violet and white wildflowers scattered across sandy dunes with distant lavender mountains beneath a soft morning sky. Webb’s finely layered brushwork and gentle tonal transitions capture the distinct quiet beauty of the high desert terrain.

Presented in a solid wood box frame, unsigned on the reverse and signed and dated R.H. Webb ’77 at lower right. A complementary companion to Webb’s larger desert scenes, this painting reflects his intimate understanding of Southwestern light and form.

Condition
