Description

Pair of Goebel Hummel Figurines – “Out of Danger” & “Boy with Flute,” W. Germany

Pair of charming vintage Goebel Hummel porcelain figurines, both hand-painted and marked Goebel W. Germany on the base. The set includes “Out of Danger” (model #56/A), showing a young boy climbing a wooden fence as a frog looks up from below, and a kneeling boy playing a flute, dressed in a brown hat with feather, red jacket, and green trousers. These mid-20th-century West German pieces capture the gentle expressions and fine craftsmanship characteristic of M.I. Hummel designs, making them a delightful addition to any collection or vintage décor display.

Condition

Good overall condition. The smaller “Boy with Flute” figure shows light crazing; both pieces have minor wear consistent with age. No chips, cracks, or repairs noted.
