Decorative Railroad Shadowbox “Empire State Express 999” – Wall Mount
Commercially produced decorative shadowbox, wall-mountable and displayed behind removable glass. The composition centers on a molded relief of the New York Central’s No. 999 with matching “Empire State Express” tender, surrounded by reproduction railway ephemera and props (ticket punch, bell, warning placard, route/ticket cards, and roundel). Finishes in red, black, and gilt give the piece strong visual impact, while the long panoramic format makes it ideal over a desk, sofa, or bar. Glass front can be removed for cleaning or rearrangement. A fun accent for train buffs and Americana-themed spaces.
