Rogers & Johnston “Territory of New Mexico” Map (Reproduction), Framed
A printed reproduction of the historic mid-19th-century map “Territory of New Mexico,” credited to Prof. H.D. Rogers and A. Keith Johnston, with the original plate marked W. & A.K. Johnston, Edinburgh and John Murray, London along the lower margin. The sheet shows towns, rivers, mountain shading, and the Proposed Pacific Railway Routes noted in purple on the original. Nicely presented in a contemporary black frame with glazing—an engaging wall piece for Southwest, railroad, or Western-history décor.
Condition
Good overall. Reproduction print presents cleanly with even toning under glass. Frame shows noticeable surface wear including scratches and small nicks/chips along the moulding, as shown. Ready to hang.
