John Widdicomb Mid-Century Painted Hutch Cabinet – Removable Top, Dovetail Drawers
Mid-century painted hutch cabinet by John Widdicomb, constructed of solids and veneers with a laminate top. The removable upper section features two fixed shelves (each 11½" high) divided by two 9" vertical supports, ideal for open display. The lower cabinet includes two paneled doors concealing two dovetail drawers and additional storage space below. Finished in Widdicomb’s signature antiqued cream and pale blue-green palette with molded trim and tapered legs, this elegant design reflects the refined neoclassical influence of the 1950s–60s.
Stamped to the reverse “660-519-2520P / SER. NO. AE05539”, confirming its manufacture within Widdicomb’s distinguished mid-century painted furniture line.
Condition:
Good overall condition. Visible scuffs to shelving, minor wear, and small finish losses consistent with age and use. Structurally sturdy with smooth-operating drawers and doors. Please review photos for complete details.
