John Widdicomb Mid-Century Painted Vanity with Hutch Top – Dovetail Drawers
Elegant mid-century painted vanity featuring a laminate top, solid and veneered construction, and a lift-top center section revealing a concealed mirror and storage compartment. The piece includes two dovetail drawers flanking a faux middle drawer front, framed in soft cream tones with pale blue trim. The combination of arched accents and tapered legs gives it a refined, transitional look suited to Hollywood Regency or American neoclassical interiors.
Stamped to the reverse “660-519-2520P / SER. NO. AE05539”, consistent with mid-century American furniture manufacturing—possibly by John Widdicomb or a comparable maker noted for painted finishes and fine craftsmanship.
Condition:
Good condition overall. Exhibits finish wear and light scuffing consistent with age. Structurally sound and sturdy. Noted mark in left drawer, chip to right side, and general surface wear as shown. Mirror intact; lift-top and drawers function properly.
