The table displays a 0.75-inch thick top, 24-inch apron height, and bold 10-inch octagonal pedestal with 3-inch thick scrolled legs — all in solid oak with no veneers. Two custom (later) 10-inch functional extensions accompany the table, allowing expanded dining space while preserving its original character.

The four coordinating chairs feature turned spindles, carved press-back crests, and woven cane seats, combining durability and decorative appeal typical of the “Golden Oak” period. The set’s design and craftsmanship embody the enduring quality of early American furniture makers.
