Description

Antique Brass Spirit Kettle w/Stand & Burner

Antique brass spirit kettle with matching stand and removable burner, dating to the late 19th or early 20th century. This classic table-top kettle features a rounded brass body accented by an embossed foliate scroll band, a gracefully curved pouring spout, and an articulated swing handle with a turned wooden grip. The kettle rests on a three-legged cast brass stand with decorative detailing, designed to house the spirit burner beneath for heating.

Spirit kettles of this type were commonly used during the Victorian and Edwardian periods to heat water or keep tea warm at the table using alcohol fuel. This example retains all primary components, including the kettle, stand, and burner, making it a desirable and complete set. An attractive decorative piece with strong period character, suitable for display in a traditional kitchen, dining room, or antique metalware collection.

Condition

Good condition with age-appropriate wear. The brass shows toning, surface wear, spotting, and wear to the finish consistent with age and use. No major structural damage observed. Please review photos for full condition details.
