A 1979 Peruvian 5000 Soles de Oro silver commemorative coin issued by the Banco Central de Reserva del Perú. The reverse depicts the ironclad warship Huáscar sailing at sea with radiating lines above, commemorating the centenary of the Battle of Iquique (1879–1979), a key event of the War of the Pacific.
