1994 Hilton Reno $10 Gaming Token – Horses – .999 Silver, Encapsulated
This listing features a 1994 Hilton Reno $10 gaming token, issued in Reno, Nevada, as part of the casino’s limited-edition Silver Strike program. The token is a bimetallic issue consisting of a .999 fine silver center encased within a brass outer ring, produced for use and redemption at the Hilton Reno casino.
The obverse displays the word “RENO” above a stylized Hilton double-H emblem. Below appear the inscriptions “HILTON” and “RENO, NEV.,” followed by the small initials “LM,” attributed to Lancaster Mint. The surrounding brass ring is inscribed “LIMITED EDITION TEN DOLLAR GAMING TOKEN” and “.999 PURE SILVER.”
The reverse features two rearing horses facing one another within the silver center, set against a mountainous landscape. The outer ring carries the inscription “DOLLAR REDEEMABLE CASH AT THE HILTON RENO,” indicating the token’s intended use within the issuing property.
