Series 1957 U.S. $1 Silver Certificate featuring George Washington, blue Treasury seal, and replacement star serial ★82065653A. Signatures: Ivy Baker Priest (Treasurer) and Robert B. Anderson (Secretary). Cataloged as Friedberg 1619★, the star variety issued in the final small-size silver-certificate run. Historic type once redeemable “in silver on demand” until redemption ended in 1968. A classic collectible for type and star-note specialists.
Condition
Very good overall: multiple horizontal/vertical folds, light handling and corner wear; paper intact with strong inks and no tears or graffiti noted. Plate position “H1” and plate number at lower right are visible; please review photos for exact state.
