Series 1963 $1 Federal Reserve Note – Granahan/Dillon – Kansas City (J)
Pair of original Series 1963 $1 Federal Reserve Notes from the Kansas City district (J), both with the Granahan–Dillon signatures. These are the first green-seal $1 FRNs issued after the blue-seal Silver Certificates. One note shows back plate 439, identifying it as a desirable “mule” printed with an earlier 1957B back plate; the second bears back plate 452 (non-mule). Classic Washington portrait at front; Great Seal reverse in rich green and black inks on small-size BEP security paper (6.14 x 2.61 in). A neat type/variety pairing for U.S. currency collectors.
