Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver & Turquoise Cluster Ring, Size 6
A vintage Navajo sterling silver ring featuring a classic turquoise cluster design, likely dating to the mid-20th century. The ring is set with ten natural turquoise cabochons—one round center stone surrounded by nine matching teardrops—arranged in a radial floral pattern. The stones display a beautiful variation in color from pale green to sky blue, with natural matrix inclusions consistent with Southwestern turquoise, possibly from the Kingman region.
Executed in traditional Navajo style, the stones are set in hand-cut sawtooth bezels, with silver raindrop accents interspersed between each stone. The ring is unsigned, which is not uncommon for earlier Navajo silverwork, and the piece exhibits the hand-fabricated quality and patina expected of vintage Native American jewelry from the 1950s to 1970s.
This is a fine example of Navajo cluster work, suitable for collectors and those who appreciate authentic, period Southwestern design.
Condition
Good overall condition. All stones are intact and securely set. Surface wear and patina are consistent with age. Silver remains unpolished to preserve its original finish. No cracks or chips observed. Structurally sound with a comfortable, split-shank band.
