Vintage Santo Domingo (Kewa Pueblo) turquoise heishi necklace featuring vivid Kingman turquoise, handcrafted in the Southwestern tradition. The necklace is composed of finely graduated turquoise heishi beads measuring approximately 2.9 mm to 8.9 mm, displaying strong sky-blue coloration with natural dark matrix throughout.
At the center are three elongated Kingman turquoise drop stones, creating a striking focal point and adding dimensional presence to the design. Near the clasp, two coral stones provide classic contrast, while six sterling silver bench beads (tested) reflect traditional Native American silversmithing influences. The necklace is strung on cotton cord and finished with a traditional hook clasp, consistent with mid-20th-century Pueblo construction.
This short choker-length necklace sits beautifully at the neckline and represents a desirable example of vintage Santo Domingo jewelry, combining quality materials, careful workmanship, and timeless New Mexico style.
