German Historic-Scene Ceramic Flip-Top Bottles Pair – 13" & 14"
Step into German history—one bottle at a time. This captivating pair of ceramic flip-top bottles, produced for Sailer Fest malt liquor, brings together centuries of storytelling in brilliant color and classic Bavarian craftsmanship.
The 13" bottle offers a heartfelt “Gruß vom Saarland an Deutschland”, showcasing Gothic-style sculptural saints straight from medieval lore. Its 14" companion transports you to 1521, placing Martin Luther at the famous Diet of Worms, where he delivered one of the most dramatic theological “mic drops” of all time. Both jugs feature crisp imagery, traditional script, and original swing-top closures, with maker’s marks on the base—#, 3, 21, 11, 80 mm and V A, 3, 2, 80 mm—hinting at their specialized contract manufacture for German brewery exports.
Condition
Good overall condition with no chips, cracks, or structural damage observed. Light sticker adhesive remains on the surface. Imagery is vivid, and closures appear intact. See photos for details.
