Classic Rock: Badfinger Airwaves & Bob Seger Against the Wind LPs
Offered here is a pair of classic rock LPs: Badfinger – Airwaves, Elektra catalog 6E-175 (matrix on disc photographed as 6E-175-B), and Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band – Against the Wind, Capitol catalog SOO-12041 (spine shows 500-12041). Airwaves includes its radar-themed cover featuring profile portraits of Joey Molland and Tom Evans, while Against the Wind displays the iconic running-horses artwork by Jim Warren. Both albums include original sleeves.
An appealing two-record grouping for collectors of late-’70s/early-’80s rock.
Condition
Covers show moderate wear, including rubbing, small scuffs, and corner/edge softening; Seger’s spine has notable fraying, and Badfinger’s cover has an evident surface scuff near the upper left. Vinyl on both LPs shows visible surface marks and light scuffs, with no cracks or warping noted.
