Offered here is a pair of original 1977 U.S. Epic Records pressings from The Charlie Daniels Band: Whiskey (PE 34664) and Midnight Wind (PE 34970). Whiskey represents the Epic reissue of the band’s earlier Way Down Yonder material, issued with the orange Epic label and classic barroom portrait cover. Midnight Wind is a first-year U.S. pressing featuring vibrant cover artwork, tropical graphics, and the band lineup pictured on the rear jacket.
Together, these albums showcase Daniels’ late-1970s Southern rock era and remain appealing additions for collectors, listeners, and fans of the genre. A solid two-title lot with authentic period pressings.
CONDITION
Both jackets show moderate shelf wear with rubbing, soft corners, and handling marks; the Whiskey sleeve has more noticeable wear along the top seam. Vinyl surfaces on both records have light handling scuffs but no major scratches noted. Labels are clean, and generic inner sleeves show age toning. Overall condition: Good to Very Good, suitable for play and collection.
