Vintage Solid Wood Shoe Shine Kit w/ Storage – 24" Folk Style
This vintage solid wood shoe-shine stand features a classic folk-crafted design, complete with shaped legs, a scalloped upper handle, and a warm brown stained finish. Built with flathead screws and scroll-cut details, it reflects the small-shop or hobbyist woodworking typical of the 1940s–1960s. The top platform offers a stable surface for polishing shoes, while the front lift-door opens to a 5.25" x 12" compartment ideal for storing brushes, polish tins, and cloths.
Compact and functional, this stand serves equally well as a decorative accent for rustic, Americana, or cabin interiors. A Campbell’s Soup can is shown in the photos for scale. A charming example of handmade utility furniture.
CONDITION
In good, sturdy condition with finish wear, scattered paint splatter, and edge abrasions consistent with age. A 1" split on the stretcher is visible but does not affect stability. Minor scuffs and finish loss are present as shown.
