Jan Preston Archey is a celebrated potter and educator with over 45 years of teaching experience in the Dona Ana Community Education program and other regional initiatives. A native of New Mexico, she earned her Master of Arts in Teaching with a focus on Art Education. Since founding her Las Cruces studio in the 1980s, Archey has drawn inspiration from the region’s natural beauty, infusing her work with the spirit of the Land of Enchantment.
