Robinson Ransbottom 2-Gallon Crown Cooler w/ Lid & Spigot
This Robinson Ransbottom 2-gallon stoneware cooler dates to circa 1920s–1940s, produced in Roseville, Ohio during the company’s early–mid 20th century period. It features the classic cobalt Crown capacity mark on a warm cream body with three bold cobalt bands and retains its matching stoneware lid. The piece is fitted with an aluminum spigot, adding practical function as a beverage server while preserving the traditional barrel-form profile associated with RRP’s durable stoneware.
Weighing 12 lbs, this cooler reflects the sturdy, utilitarian construction that made Robinson Ransbottom a household name in American pottery. It makes an excellent accent for farmhouse, rustic, or Americana décor and can be used for serving or as a striking display piece.
CONDITION
In good condition with visible glaze variations, and production imperfections typical of stoneware from this era. Minor surface wear and small glaze skips are present. The spigot is intact and functional. Please review all photos for details.
