Galvanized Double-Handle Utility Tub – Vintage Sq. Wash Bin
This vintage galvanized metal utility tub features a sturdy square-oval form with reinforced ribbed walls and two integrated side handles for easy lifting. Made from spangled galvanized steel, it reflects mid-20th-century construction and was originally used as a general household wash or utility bin. The underside stamping, including “62” and “PAT. NO. 1935849,” corresponds to a 1930s patent for strengthened rolled-edge galvanized containers.
Today, this tub is ideal for decorative and functional use. Its generous size makes it perfect for holiday parties as a beverage or ice cooler, or as rustic storage for blankets, firewood, toys, or seasonal décor. CONDITION
