Rustic Mexican Pine Display Cabinet – Distressed Red Glass-Front, 7 Shelves
This rustic Mexican display cabinet is crafted from solid pine and features the distinctive tall, narrow form known as a vitrina angosta. Its arched top, hand-shaped muntins, and simple wooden latch reflect traditional workshop methods found in central Mexican artisan furniture. The cabinet displays a layered distressed red finish—rojo antiguo—with natural rub-through along edges and corners, giving it the characteristic hacienda-style appearance associated with Tonalá and San Miguel de Allende production.
The glass-paneled door is divided into eight sections, showcasing seven fixed interior shelves with 10" and 7.25" clearances, ideal for pottery, small collectibles, or decorative bottles. With its compact footprint and bold color, this piece adds strong Southwestern or farmhouse charm while remaining highly functional. A striking handcrafted accent ready for display.
Condition
In excellent condition, with intentional distressing and surface variation consistent with rustic Mexican pine furniture. Glass panels, shelving, and hinges are intact, and the door operates properly. No significant damage observed.
