Vintage Walnut Armoire with 5 Dovetail Drawers & Hanging Rod Interior

Vintage walnut veneer armoire in a transitional traditional–mid-century style, featuring a single upper drawer above double cabinet doors adorned with neoclassical-style circular medallion appliqués. The left cabinet door opens to reveal four dovetail construction drawers and one fixed shelf (approx. 10" height), while the right door conceals a central hanging rod and an additional mounted bar affixed to the door interior. Fitted with metal hardware and raised on bracket-style feet, the piece combines decorative appeal with versatile functionality.

An attractive storage cabinet ideal for use in a bedroom or dressing space, offering both hanging and drawer organization. The craftsmanship and layout are consistent with mid-20th century American production.

Condition

Fair overall. Veneer chips are visible throughout, most prominent near the lower section and base. The right door hinge is detached, preventing the doors from closing flush. Key is absent. Additional wear includes scattered surface scratches, finish fading, and minor cracking to veneer areas. Evidence of water damage to the bottom base. Hardware and interior drawers remain intact and functional. Age-appropriate wear throughout, as shown in photos.
