Exceptional artisan table lamp by W. Kohler Lamp & Shade Co., renowned for handcrafted Southwestern studio lighting. This striking piece features a solid Velvet Mesquite base from the Sonoran Desert, enriched with crushed turquoise inlay highlighting the wood’s natural fissures and growth rings. The shade is solid copper, cut with sunburst motifs and finished in Kohler’s trademark heat-patinated technique, yielding a radiant spectrum of iridescent copper, violet, and gold hues.
Maker-marked “Kohler” on the shade and finished with a felted bottom for surface protection. A sculptural blend of desert materials and artisanal metalwork, reflecting the studio’s celebrated craftsmanship since the late 20th century.
