Imperial Grand Rapids Mahogany Side Table
Classic Imperial Furniture Co. mahogany side table, maker marked with brass “True Grand Rapids” certification tag and Imperial shield label. Model 1305, crafted in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The table features a finished back, open storage compartment, and lower display shelf supported by tapered legs. The shaped apron beneath the open cubby lends refined, traditional appeal while maintaining simple functionality.
An excellent example of mid-century Grand Rapids craftsmanship, this versatile piece works beautifully as a lamp table, bedside stand, or accent table, with quality joinery and a smooth, even finish that reflects the enduring standards of Imperial Furniture’s legacy.
Condition
In good vintage condition, showing visible discoloration and scuffs from age and use. Light surface scratches to the top and shelves, with some finish variation as shown. Structurally sound and sturdy overall, with all joints tight and no instability — excellent integrity for its age.
