Pair of Mid-Century Wrought Iron Fan-Back Chaise Lounges, Salterini Style

Elegant pair of mid-20th-century wrought iron chaise lounges in the Hollywood Regency style, attributed to the Salterini school. Each features a dramatic fan-back design with radiating spokes and looped crest, scrolled armrests, and a latticework seat supported by curved legs with decorative curls. Finished in white paint, the pair exemplifies the craftsmanship and whimsical elegance that defined American outdoor furniture of the 1940s–1960s.

Removable striped cushions in vibrant retro hues of orange, yellow, blue, and green complement the sculptural ironwork and add comfort for indoor or patio use. Condition

In fair to good vintage condition. The painted finish shows expected age wear, with areas of flaking, surface rust, and minor oxidation visible throughout. Some scroll joints exhibit light separation, and select feet show rust and small losses (see photos). Cushions are serviceable with mild fading and light age toning. Both lounges remain structurally sound and stable, offering excellent potential for gentle restoration or outdoor display.
