Barbara Howe Original Rooftop Painting – Signed, Framed, Acrylic on Masonite

Vivid and distinctive original acrylic painting on Masonite board by Wisconsin artist Barbara Howe, capturing a lively rooftop cityscape with chimneys, aerials, and architectural details rendered in her characteristic linear style. The work displays bold outlines and strong contrasts of cobalt blue, gold, and terracotta, creating a sense of movement and light reminiscent of European skylines. Signed “Howe” at lower right and again on verso.

Presented in an ornate gilt frame with foliate carvings and beaded trim, this piece exemplifies Howe’s colorful, travel-inspired subjects. A captivating architectural study that reflects her expressive approach and joy in observing the built world’s textures and forms.
