Barbara Howe (American, b. 20th c.) is a painter known for her watercolor and acrylic landscapes and architectural scenes, often inspired by her extensive travels through Italy, France, Spain, Mexico, Thailand, Egypt, and the American Southwest. Howe began painting at age 62 and quickly developed a following for her vivid depictions of global architecture and cultural landmarks. Her work celebrates “the beauty in this world,” merging realism with a modern, interpretive edge.
