Descoware Belgium Yellow Enamel Cast Iron Covered Casserole
This vintage Descoware covered casserole is a charming example of mid-century Belgian enamelware. Crafted in Belgium and marked “Descoware Made in Belgium” on the base, it reflects the company’s celebrated design and quality from the 1950s–1960s. Descoware pieces were known for their slightly lighter castings and bold, cheerful colors that brought a touch of elegance and practicality to the postwar kitchen.
This particular example features a glossy yellow enamel exterior with white handles and interior, a domed lid with loop handle, and smooth cast-iron construction for even heat distribution. The bright “citron” finish embodies the brand’s signature mid-century aesthetic—functional yet stylish, perfect for both display and daily cooking.
