Cast Iron “Jonah and the Whale” Mechanical Bank
Reproduction cast iron mechanical bank depicting the biblical tale of Jonah and the Whale. When activated, the figure of Jonah is “fed” into the whale’s mouth—a faithful recreation of the classic late 19th-century J. & E. Stevens design. The bank features a perforated base labeled “Jonah and the Whale Bank” and is hand-painted in bright enamel tones of yellow, green, red, black, and brown.
