Pair of Windsor Art Prints After R.C. Gorman — Consuelo & Wild Women, 1973
Pair of framed Windsor Art lithographic prints after R.C. Gorman (American, 1931–2005), titled Consuelo and Wild Women, both dated 1973. Each work bears a printed signature and date within the image, consistent with Windsor Art’s authorized reproductions. The serene compositions depict Native American women in contemplative poses—Consuelo in pale blue and white tones, and Wild Women with expressive dark hair and a rose garment—hallmarks of Gorman’s elegant minimalism and emotional restraint.
Presented in matching oak-tone wood frames with double mats in cream and slate gray, retaining original Windsor Art labels on the reverse, marked “G 5463 379” and “3277 IR.” A striking 1970s pair capturing Gorman’s timeless celebration of feminine grace and Southwestern identity.
Condition
In very good vintage condition overall. Light age toning to mats and minor surface wear to frames. Backing paper shows small tears and edge wear consistent with age; hanging wires remain secure. Colors are vivid and well preserved.
