Set of 3 Pueblo Pottery Miniatures – Isleta & Acoma, NM, Signed
Charming group of three hand-painted Pueblo pottery pieces from New Mexico, each signed on the underside. The collection includes: one large bowl with geometric and red-and-black floral motifs, marked Isleta with an indistinct artist’s signature; one medium bowl signed Isleta L.R.J., featuring traditional cross-hatched and floral design; and one small jar marked Acoma, N.M., decorated in classic brown-on-cream patterns. Each piece reflects the distinctive artistic traditions of its respective Pueblo, with hand-coiled forms and mineral pigment painting.
An attractive set for collectors of Southwestern or Native American pottery, representing two significant Pueblo art centers.
Condition:
Fair overall condition. Each piece shows chips, cracks, evidence of previous repairs, and areas of surface wear consistent with age and handling. The larger Isleta bowl displays a visible crack line and minor rim loss; others show similar age-related wear. Stable and visually appealing despite imperfections.
