Taylor Made Solid Cherry 4-Drawer Chest by Jamestown Table Company
A handsome mid-20th-century solid cherry chest by the Jamestown Table Company of Jamestown, New York, from the firm’s “Taylor Made” furniture line. Maker’s stamp present inside a drawer confirms authenticity. The chest features (4) dovetail drawers with machine-cut joinery, fitted with classic brass bail-pull hardware, and rests on a scalloped bracket base in the Colonial Revival style. Warm cherry surfaces show attractive grain and quality construction throughout.
Condition:
Good overall, showing scratches, scuffing, and finish wear consistent with honest use. Very sturdy and well built; light finish wear noted at the base. Drawers operate smoothly and hardware shows a pleasing, age-appropriate patina.
