Virginia Craftsmen Maple Queen Anne Drop-Leaf Table – Dovetail Drawer
Elegant solid maple Queen Anne-style drop-leaf table by Virginia Craftsmen, marked inside the dovetailed drawer with their distinctive stamp. Hand-crafted in Harrisonburg, Virginia, this mid-20th-century piece reflects the firm’s commitment to authentic early American reproduction furniture.
The table features a 1" thick top with double drop leaves, a single dovetailed drawer with turned wooden knob, and 1.5" turned legs ending in classic pad feet—a hallmark of 18th-century design. Constructed entirely from solid wood, this table combines historical charm with functional versatility. Ideal as an accent, lamp, or occasional table, and representative of Virginia Craftsmen’s fine handmade work seen in collections at Monticello and Colonial Williamsburg.
Condition:
In good, sturdy condition with honest wear from age and use. Exhibits scratches, scuffing, and finish wear throughout. The right rear foot is chipped (see photo), but the structure remains solid and stable. Drawer operates smoothly and leaves function properly.
