Description

Adella Silvers Navajo Rug—Chinle AZ, 2010, 100% Wool with Spirit Line

Authentic handwoven Navajo rug by Adella Silvers of Chinle, Arizona, crafted from 100% wool and featuring a striking geometric pattern in red, black, gray, and white. This piece follows the classic Chinle regional style, characterized by stepped diamond motifs and strong linear symmetry. A traditional Spirit Line is present—an intentional feature symbolizing the weaver’s spirit flowing from the textile, a hallmark of Navajo cultural tradition.

Adella Silvers’ work is well documentedj, this example, woven in 2010, represents a continuation of the region’s historic weaving legacy. The balanced design and finely executed patterning reflect both skill and spiritual intention, making this rug a desirable piece for collectors or as a statement accent in any interior setting.
