Vintage Italian Blown Glass Reef Paperweight with Dolphins & Fish, 6.75"

Large vintage Italian blown glass paperweight crafted in the Murano style, depicting a colorful underwater coral reef scene. Within the clear dome, six cobalt-blue dolphins circle above small tropical fish rendered in bright hues of orange, green, and blue. Pink coral-like formations and suspended air bubbles add striking depth and motion, while swirling aqua-blue glass ribbons form the oceanic base. Substantial in size and presence, this intricately made work exemplifies the artistry of mid- to late-20th-century Italian glassmaking.

Condition:

In fair vintage condition with visible wear and isolated stable fractures. The underside exhibits two stable stress fractures (often referred to as bullseyes). These fractures are confined to the base and do not extend into the body of the piece. Light surface scratches and residue are also present on the top. The glass remains structurally stable, and the internal scene is clear and visually impressive.
