This substantial and well-built cocktail / coffee table is an authentic adaptation of an original workshop bench, now refined for domestic display. The sturdy structure includes 3.5″ × 3.5″ square legs tied by stretchers, a single utilitarian drawer with vintage cup pull, and flathead screw joinery typical of industrial construction. Originally standing at workbench height, it has been skillfully shortened to 19″ for comfortable use in living spaces. The thick plank top is sealed with a high-gloss lacquer, preserving its grain and adding visual polish without erasing its past.

Measuring 72″ W × 31″ D and standing at 19″ H, this table merges rugged utilitarian origins with refined presence. It is equally at home in lofts, modern-rustic interiors, and collector environments valuing reclaimed history.
