Antique Persian Brass Samovar with Figural Handles
Elegant antique Persian brass samovar featuring a bulbous, fluted body and ornate figural handles terminating in stylized mask forms. The lid displays a beaded rim with a stepped collar and vented chimney, while the pierced base rests on four bracket feet. The brass spigot retains its decorative quatrefoil handle and turned wooden grip. A faint impressed maker’s mark in Persian script is visible near the upper collar, suggesting manufacture in Isfahan or Tabriz, both known centers of samovar craftsmanship.
A substantial and impressive example of Persian metalwork, both functional and decorative, representing the artistry of traditional Iranian tea culture.

Good overall condition with dents, scuffing, oxidation, and age-appropriate wear. One knob is absent but included separately. Evidence of a minor solder repair at one handle joint. Finish shows patination and darkened areas consistent with age and use, enhancing its period character.
