Pair of de Buyer “Mineral B” Carbon Steel Fry Pans — Made in France
Pair of de Buyer “Mineral B” carbon steel fry pans, made in France and part of the brand’s iconic professional cookware line. Each pan is maker-marked “de Buyer / Made in France” and constructed from 99% pure iron and 1% carbon, ensuring exceptional heat conduction and responsiveness. Designed for natural seasoning, these pans feature de Buyer’s traditional beeswax finish for protection against oxidation and to aid the initial seasoning process.
The flared Lyonnaise sides allow for effortless tossing and plating, while the riveted steel handles—angled in de Buyer’s ergonomic French style—stay cooler during stovetop use. Suitable for all cooktops including induction, gas, and electric. Over time, the surface naturally darkens to form a durable, nonstick patina—preferred by professional chefs for searing, browning, and sautéing.
Condition:
In good condition, sitting flat with honest surface wear and established seasoning from prior use. Typical patina, light oxidation, and discoloration consistent with carbon steel’s natural development. Handles remain secure and solid, with no warping or structural issues.
Dimensions:
Larger Pan: 1.75" height × 11" diameter × 20" total length with handle
Smaller Pan: 1.5" height × 10.5" diameter × 18.5" total length with handle
