A large and finely crafted Zuni Sunface pendant/brooch, marked “Sterling” and set with traditional inlay of turquoise, mother of pearl, coral, and onyx. The bold Kachina face design features radiating feather-like elements and a crescent-shaped lower section framed by turquoise cabochons, all mounted in sterling silver. This versatile piece is fitted with a barrel clasp and a 5.34 mm bale, allowing it to be worn either as a brooch or as a pendant. Weighing 32.07 grams, it is a substantial and impressive example of Zuni artistry.

Condition

In good condition, with all stones secure in their settings. A small 4 mm section of turquoise is absent on the left side, as shown in photos. Silver shows light surface wear; we have left polishing to the discretion of the buyer. Clasp and bale are fully functional.
