1907–1908 Liberty Head Nickels (9 Coins) – “V” Reverse – Copper-Nickel Alloy
This lot includes nine circulated Liberty Head “V” Nickels, composed of five coins dated 1907 and four coins dated 1908. These coins were struck by the United States Mint and feature Charles E. Barber’s classic Liberty design on the obverse, with a left-facing bust surrounded by thirteen stars. The reverse displays a large Roman numeral "V" representing five cents, encircled by a wreath and the legend "UNITED STATES OF AMERICA." This series was issued from 1883 to 1912 and represents a significant period in early 20th-century U.S. coinage.
