1926 Peace Silver Dollar – Philadelphia Mint – .900 Silver
This listing features a 1926 Peace Dollar struck at the Philadelphia Mint. Designed by Anthony de Francisci, the series was introduced in 1921 to commemorate the peace following World War I. The obverse originally depicted Liberty with a radiating crown, and the reverse showed a perched bald eagle holding an olive branch. While design details on this example are extremely worn, the coin remains identifiable as part of the Peace Dollar series.
