This lot offers three 1963 Franklin Half Dollars, all struck at the Denver Mint. This was the final year of the Franklin Half Dollar series before being replaced by the Kennedy Half Dollar in 1964. The obverse features John R. Sinnock’s portrait of Benjamin Franklin with the inscriptions LIBERTY and IN GOD WE TRUST. The reverse depicts the Liberty Bell with a small eagle to the right, a legal requirement for half dollars. Each coin is composed of 90% silver, making this trio collectible both for its numismatic appeal and bullion content.
