This lot includes four 1963-D Franklin Half Dollars, struck at the Denver Mint in the final year of the Franklin series before being replaced by the Kennedy Half Dollar. The obverse features John R. Sinnock’s portrait of Benjamin Franklin with the inscriptions “LIBERTY” and “IN GOD WE TRUST,” along with the date. The reverse depicts the Liberty Bell with a small eagle to the right, as legally required for half dollars. Each coin carries the "D" mintmark above the Liberty Bell.
