Description

Vintage Navajo Sterling Silver Turquoise Cuff Bracelet, 20.5g, Serrated Bezels

A vintage Navajo sterling silver cuff bracelet, from the mid-20th century, featuring four round turquoise cabochons measuring approximately 5.75 mm each. The stones are set in hand-cut serrated bezels and display natural matrix and color variation. Applied silver raindrops accent the turquoise, framed on both edges by twisted rope borders — classic features of Navajo silversmithing. Unmarked but tested sterling, this bracelet weighs 20.5 grams and has developed a natural patina that underscores its age and authenticity.

Consistent with “old pawn” Navajo jewelry, this piece was crafted for personal wear and trade rather than mass production. Its balance of weight, secure stone settings, and traditional detailing make it both a wearable treasure and a collectible example of Navajo artistry.

Condition:
Good vintage condition with surface wear and tarnish consistent with age. Turquoise cabochons show natural inclusions and irregularities but remain secure in their bezels. No major damage or repairs noted. Please see photos for stone color and matrix.

Dimensions:

  • Inside circumference: 5 inches
  • Gap: 0.84 inches
  • Rise: 0.20 inches
  • Overall: 1.66 x 1.96 x 0.67 inches
  • Weight: 20.5 grams
  • Stone size: four turquoise cabochons, approx. 5.75 mm each
  • Fits wrists approx. 6.25–6.75 inches
  • Shown with U.S. $1 bill for scale.

A strong example of Navajo silverwork, this cuff combines natural turquoise with traditional handmade silver detailing. An authentic old pawn bracelet, ideal for collectors of Native American jewelry or those seeking a timeless piece of Southwestern craftsmanship.
