Decorative Katana Sword in Shirasaya Style – Stainless Steel, 37"
This decorative katana reproduction is presented in the understated shirasaya style, featuring a plain natural wood scabbard and matching handle. The blade is made of stainless steel with a machine-applied hamon for display effect. The scabbard is inscribed with decorative script and symbols, adding to its visual appeal.
Measuring 37 inches overall with a 28.5-inch blade and a 31-inch sheath, this piece makes a striking wall display or collector’s accent. While the blade edge is sharpened, it is not a traditionally forged Japanese sword and is intended for decorative purposes rather than martial arts practice.
Condition
In good condition overall, with some light surface wear from storage and handling. The blade remains sharp as shown, and the wood mounts display minor natural grain variations. Marked “Stainless Steel” and “Taiwan” on the blade.
